I am an educator and actress. My husband and I have raised a beautiful and talented daughter and an intelligent and creative son. I am an advocate of Indian cultures and committed to developing strong relationships with my family and friends to promote our languages and heritage

School & University Life:
– Participated in group songs, Shabad Gayan and plays at school/university
– Participated in Inter-College Debate/Declamations
– Completed Masters and B.Ed. (Teaching since 1982 to date)
– Migrated to Canada in 1996
– Feel proud to facilitate interpretation services for the entire school community
– Have been teaching Punjabi Folk Dance to my students since 1984 to date

Organized Rural Games:
– In collaboration with a Brampton Councillor (2001-2008) organized “Fun Fair Games” for ladies and children
– Engaged secondary students to give them leadership opportunities
